If you know me, you know that I will always love any hair tool from Paul Mitchell. They always perform well, work for so long and have an amazing warranty. But sometimes I stray away and try something new and trendy. Like this Wavytalk Pro Thermal Brush. Every time I got on TikTok, there it was. So I gave in to the temptation.
It is currently priced at $45.99 and comes in black/rose gold or purple. There's even a $3 coupon available. It has two settings, one for fine hair (350F) and one for course hair (410F). The button settings are labeled 1 and 2. Because I immediately threw the box and manual in the trash, I have no idea which is which. Hahaha. It heats up in 30 seconds and has a negative ion emission port which is to aid in smoothing and softening the hair. Be warned, this is not a blow dryer brush. It does not blow out any warm air at all. I will definitely post about my favorite blow dryer round brush at some point soon. The Wavytalk Pro Thermal Brush is to be used on your dry hair. I love using it at my root and round brushing away from the face for lift at the crown. I love using it to round brush the hair around my face up and away from my face. This creates a beautiful curtain bang look with the bangs/face framing pieces swooping away from the face. With my medium length hair, I can use this thermal brush to smooth out any flipped pieces around my shoulders and back. With longer hair, you could use this blowout brush to add curls away from the face. It will literally look like you just walked out the salon with a fresh blowout. I think it's a very versatile hair tool for a really great price that could be a part of just about any woman's hair arsenal. Give it a try! This post contains affiliate links. So, welcome to the blog portion of my site. This is going to be a feature that I want to use to highlight some of the products I am trying and loving. Some will be tried and true, longtime favorites. Some will be new finds. Most of these items will be hair and beauty focused, but I surely mix in some fun items of other categories. I aim to make this blog easily categorized. For example, if you are looking to try a new shampoo, you will be able to easily find the shampoo category and see the shampoos that I recommend. From there, you can click each product's blog post to see any details I note about the product and even a direct Amazon affiliate link to purchase if you decide that you would like to try it.
I'm going to start with the most basic, but beneficial product that I can think of . . . the AquaBliss Shower Filter. Y'all. This baby is easy to connect to your existing shower head and makes more difference than you can imagine. This water filter can greatly help with keeping your hair color fresher for longer. The benefits to your skin and scalp are just unreal. Any kind of itchy skin, flakiness, dandruff and eczema issues can be greatly reduced. At the time that I am typing this info, this filter is only $35.86 and comes in five finishes (chrome, brushed nickel, oil rubbed bronze, matte gold, matte black). The filters are designed to last six months. You can find my affiliate link for the replacement filters HERE. They are currently priced at $14.39. If you decide to give this water filter a try, please definitely let me know what you think and if you notice any differences to your hair and skin. I swear it’s amazing!
